Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (#R3-2001-0090) pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Santa Clara Valley Water District. The applicant proposes to provide maintenance access and permanent replacement of the emergency floodwall. Permanent replacement of work involves replacement of the floodwall with an 86-foot by 8-foot floodwall, removal and replacement of approximately 3,200 square feet of existing sack concrete slope protection. New construction includes an earthen levee embankment and tie-in to the existing levees and replaced floodwall; installation of a 42-foot clear span maintenance bridge at the downstream end of the Union Pacific Railroad box culvert; and installation of approximately 1,015 square feet of rock slope protection.
