Document Description
The Famoso Water Banking Project involves the construction of a turnout afterbay and 60 cfs. pumping plant at the Lerdo Canal, the addition of 8 miles of pipeline distribution system with connection to the existing CWD S--5 Laterals; the construction of a 20 acre (70 a.f.) regulating reservoir with a 25 cfs. pumping station for connection through the CWD existing Lateral N-1 to Conduit C, and the construction of 5 recovery wells for the extraction of in-lieu banked water as a result of the delivery of surface water instead of use of pumped groundwater for crop irrigation.
