Document Description
Kern Delta Water District proposes to develop a groundwater-banking program, with facilities located throughout the northern and central portions of the 125,000-acre District. The purpose of the program will be (1) to enhance water supply management within the District and (2) to provide for storage and subsequent extraction of previously stored supplies provided by third parties. Development of the program will provide opportunities for a variety of these partnerships with both agricultural and urban water agencies.
