Document Description
The City of Lake Elsinore proposes to implement an in-lake treatment program designed to improve water quality and the long-term sustainability of the lake. This project is one component of a larger initiative by the San Jacinto River Watershed Joint Powers Authority to improve water quality by developing and initiating watershed protection measures and identifying a sustainable water supply for Lake Elsinore. The proposed project is comprised of two phases to be completed in sequence. The first phase consists of restoring the warm water fishery balance within Lake Elsinore and the second consists of applying aluminum sulfate (alum) to the water column.
