Document Description
The purpose of the proposed Central Los Angeles Area High School No. 1 is to relieve overcrowding at the existing Hollywood and Marshall High Schools, both in Los Angeles Unified School District E in the City of Los Angeles. Subsequent to demolition and clearance of the 12.36-acre site, LAUSD is proposing to provide 1,875 two-semester seats, accommodating 2,625 students in the 9th through 12th grades year-round. The facilities are expected to include approximately 215,280 square feet of building space.
