Document Description
The proposed project would prohibit the operation of oversize vehicles upon any public street within the City limits except by Special Permit. Oversize vehicles are defined in the proposed ordinance as having a gross vehicle weight in excess of fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. Vehicles performing emergency repairs, merchandise deliveries, or providing public utility services, operating City owned vehicles, passenger busses, garbage or rubbish trucks, private recreational vehicles, or vehicles preempted by the Vehicle Code shall be exempt from the proposed ordinance.
