Document Description
The County of San Bernardino intends to construct a well head treatment system to remove naturally occurring uranium from the groundwater supply furnished to the Morongo Del Sur System in Morongo Valley, California. The water treatment system will be built as a demonstration project with a grant from the US Environmental Protection Agency, Region IX. The goal of the proposed treatment system is to bring uranium levels to 12 picocurie per liter in the delivered water.
