Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2004-0477-R5 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, County of Los Angeles. The applicant proposes to alter the streambed to widen the existing bridge over Castaic Creek and relocating an existing 12-inch potable waterline the facilitate the proposed bridge widening. A temporary waterline will be used. Riprap will be installed along the channel banks of Castaic Creek at the upstream end of the existing bridge for slope protection. An approximate 80-foot-wide temporary construction work crossings will be used on the upstream and downstream side of the bridge. The project will impact 0.23 acres permanently and 0.94 acres temporarily. The project is located in the City of Santa Clarita in Los Angeles County.
