Document Description
Issuance of Streambed Alteration Agreement R2-594-00, by Department of Fish and Game and pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code, for stream bank erosion on Dry Creek. The applicant will add boulders to the stream and create pools to slow the erosion process and to create areas for sediment deposition that will return the stream bed to its original depth (from 11 feet back to 5 feet). Five feet of the bank will be set with boulders and the remaining six feet will be terraced and sloped to a mortared stone wall. Concrete will be set behind the wall. Upon completion, cobble and drain rock will be placed in the streambed to prevent erosion and to create a spawning bed for fish.
