Document Description
This project was mostly completed as part of emergency work because of flooding and consists of the restoration of the creek bed and hillside. Concrete and fill dirt will be placed where the hillside was washed away, reforming the streambed. Gabion baskets will be installed where water pressures are extreme. Gabion weirs will be installed, approximately two above the bridge and approximately two below the bridge. Willow cuttings, California blackberries, and other native vegetation will be planted as soil stabilization and to restore the bank to its original form. Issuance of Streambed Alteration Permit Number #1006-99 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
