Document Description
The proposed project would modify the existing firing range at California State Prison, Sacramento. The project would include installation of a new and more efficient bullet containment system, new concrete walks, drainage grates and piping, and various erosion control measures. The site would be graded, backfilled, and soil compacted and the down-range end berms reconstructed. The project is needed to improve the overall safety of the existing firing range, protect site against erosion, and improve drainage. The project would make improvements to an existing State facility with no expansion of existing use.
