Document Description
This project consists of a regulation package entitled, "Assessment of Administrative Penalties" for the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), Hazardous Waste Management Program. The scope of the proposed regulation is a procedure to assess administrative penalties for violations of hazardous waste management requirements. The procedure is to be used by DTSC, local Certified Unified Program Agencies (CUPAs), and other entities authorized to assess such penalties. The decision to charge that certain violations have occurred and the settlement of an enforcement action are outside the scope of this regulation.
