Document Description
This is a planning grant to assist in planning a stream restoration project which may include channel reconstruction, bioengineered bank stabilization, riffle pool construction, reestablishment or creation of fish and wildlife habitat, debris removal or redeployment, and revegetation and stabilization of bare soil areas. The purpose is to restore stream function and improve riparian and aquatic habitat. Restoring the creek to a more stable channel with access to its floodplain should provide substantial water quality and wildlife benefits.
