Document Description
Located in the City of Angels, Calaveras County, CA, the City of Angels Water Treatment Plant Improvements project will increase reliability by increasing water treatment capability and water storage capacity, as well as by adding redundancy to the filter system. Water treatment capacity will be expanded from 2 million gallons treated per day to 3 million gallons treated per day. Storage capacity will be increased from 1.3 million gallons of treated water to 2.5 million gallons. The filter system will be expanded from two filter cells to three filter cells. Project construction is anticipated to commence and be completed in 2001.
