The zone change involves rezoning the site from C/PI (Community/Private Institution) and OS-1 (Parks) to R-1 (Estate Residential). The proposal also includes a tentative tract map, which proposes to divide the 22.195 acres of surplus Saddleback Valley School District land into 52 residential lots with a gross density of 2.34 dwelling units per acre.
