Document Description
The proposed project includes the annexation of the largest remaining portion of the Chino Valley Dairy Preserve within the City of Chino's Sphere of Influence to allow for development of a portion of the approximate 5,435 acres currently within the Preserve. The City of Chino is preparing a master plan to guide the future development and annexation of the Preserve. The master plan will consist of a comprehensive, specific plan/land use plan. An 'umbrella' General Plan Amendment, which will link the specific plan to the City's existing General Plan and satisfy the requirement for consistency with the General Plan, will also be prepared. The General Plan Amendment will be an Area Plan, as authorized by Government Code Sections 65301 (b) and 65303.
