Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has 1~xecuted Lake and Stream bed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0130-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the City of Chino. A Natural Treatment System (NTS) was constructed to treat existing off-site flows, dry weather flows, and first flush stormwater runoff from development within the City of Chino's sphere of influence. The NTS long-term routine maintenance project includes the following activities within Kimball and Bickmore basins and forebays: removal of trash; vector control activities, including filling or grading uneven surfaces, structures, and depressions and creating and/or maintaining a 3-foot wide access path for West Valley Municipal Vector Control District personnel; removal of sediment in the Kimball and Bickmore forebays when accumulations reach 50 percent of the design volume; and resurfacing or regrading access roads, basin embankments, or other areas where erosion has occurred.
