Document Description
The project will recontour approximately 0.25 miles of the active channel of Los Gatos Creek. The project will involve work only in the stream bottom, below the bank full elevation. The banks of Los Gatos Creek will not be disturbed. The project will recreate a low-flow channel that will direct flows away from presently eroding areas. There will be no more than +/- 4 feet of elevation change within the active channel during the construction of this channel. The Operator will remove several large downed trees from the active channel. The riparian area adjacent to this channel will be planted with approximately 100 willow and cottonwood trees.
