Document Description
The project will recontour the active streambed channel of Hughes Creek to improve flow, prevent property flooding, and prevent bank erosion. The work area is approximately 130 feet wide and 1,800 feet long. The active channel will be graded to recreate the low-flow channel which has been filled with silt and vegetation. Excess sand and gravel will be spread evenly on the stream banks in the project area.
