Document Description
The proposed project consists of renovation of the existing Marshal Living Unit
(8,500 gsf) by converting the current mutiple/single living spaces into 50 single occupant secure specialized treatment rooms. Modifications include security enchancements, individual showers, and restroom and upgrades. In addition, the proposed project would construct a new, approximately 7,000 gsf building to be used for office space, with staff restrooms, ward restroom, two counseling rooms and file room. The project is needed to accommodate the existing ward population, which has increasing mental health treatment and corresponding specialized space requirements. The project would convert existing multiple or single occupant space into secure single occupancy rooms.
