Document Description
The proposed project consists of implementing the Remedial Action Plan (RAP) in order to clean up soil and groundwater contamination at the Diesel Shop Operable Unit (OU) at the Union Pacific Railroad Company Rail Yard in Roseville, California. The investigation and cleanup was initiated under a Consent Order between DTSC and the Union Pacific Railroad Company (formerly of Southern Pacific Transportation Company). The RAP was prepared in accordance with California Health and Safety Code Sections 25187 and 25356.1 (h), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), and the National Contigency Plan (40 CFR Part 300).
