The project consists of a comprehensive update of the Union City General Plan and the adoption of an Economic Development Strategy and a Youth, Families, Seniors, and Health Strategy. The General Plan update will supercede the existing General Plan elements, which were last updated in 1986. The General Plan Policy Document will be based on the overall policy direction established in the Concept Framework Plan and in the Economic Development Strategy and the Youth, Families, Seniors, and Health Strategy.
