Document Description
The proposed Facilities Master Plan involves the expansion of campus facilities and modifications to campus access and circulation. The proposed projects would involve construction of new facilities (approximately 285,000 square feet), renovation of some facilities, expansion of parking lots and possible construction of a parking structure, a new access road from the western end of the campus, and a relocated eastern campus access from Yerba Buena Road. A commercial center at the corner of San Felipe Road and Yerba Buena Road is being developed privately, and has undergone separate environmental review under CEQA. All of the proposed facilities would be developed within the existing campus boundaries. The development proposed under the Facilities Master Plan is intended to meet the needs of the College for an anticipated enrollment of approximately 16,000 total students by the year 2010.
