Document Description
The proposed project consists of constructing a recreational field on land adjacent to the existing elementary school. Le Grand Elementary School is a K-8 school with a student enrollment of about 440 students. The 5.1-acre parcel is located south of the existing elementary school's recreational fields, between McKee Street and the eastern end of Brice Street. The parcel was acquired about 5 years ago by the school district. This parcel will be cleared of its present vegetation, have irrigation for landscaping installed, be graded and landscaped, and developed into a recreational field for activities conducted by the elementary school. There are no buildings or structures proposed on this field. At this time, construction of the recreational fields is proposed to begin in summer of 2001.
