This project will affect approximately 33 acres of the 96-acre Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal an industrial facility. The project area is located in a developed area of the marine terminal and presently consists of paved parking areas, industrial buildings and a truck scale. The project will include demolition of seven industrial structures, repave where the buildings were, create new maintenance and office buildings, installation of high-mast lighting, reinforce the wharf face in preparation for cranes, and install two rail electric gantry cranes and one rubber tire mobile crane. The work will generally be done in phases.
