Document Description
The EIR will equally evaluate three alternatives for the proposed City Center Redevelopment Project. These include a Low Development Alternative, Medium Development Alternative, and a High Development Alternative. The Low and Medium Development Alternatives have not been developed at this time. The High Development Alternative, which would be the maximum development approved for the new Redevelopment Project, would include the development of 9,100,000 square feet of industrial, 4,600,000 square feet of office, 4,600,000 square feet of retail, and 9,000 residential units. These distributions encompass the anticipated life of the plan (to year 2030). It is expected that some proportion of anticipated growth, particularly residential, retail and office space, would be achieved through the rehabilitation of existing buildings.
