Within the bed, bank or channel of Owens and Miles creeks, in the Caltrans right-of-way (ROW) where State Route (SR) 99 presently crosses Owen and Miles creeks and where the new alignment and new frontage road of SR 99 will cross Owens and Miles creeks. The Project is located on SR 99 between McHenry Road and Childs Avenue near the southern limits of the city of Merced, Merced County in Section 3 of Township 8 S and Range 14 E MDBM.
Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Stream Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, Caltrans. The applicant proposes the following scope of work: 1) at Owens Creek Caltrans will remove and replace the existing northbound bridge; 2) at Miles creeks Caltrans will remove and replace the existing northbound bridge; 3) at Owens and Miles creeks Caltrans will construct new bridges where the new frontage road is constructed.
