Document Description
The project is a change in the master phasing design of the Frank R. Bowerman landfill to maximize its capacity. The project involves the excavation of an additional 2.0 million cubic yards of soil, and removal and reconstruction of a portion of the existing perimeter drainage channel and perimeter road. The proposed plan would "recapture" approximately 10 million cubic yards of potentially lost air space from leaving a large stability bench in the southern area of the future structure.
