Document Description
Construct a stormwater retention basin measuring approximately 560 feet long by 380 feet wide and 24 feet deep. The basin would hold approximately 80 acre feet of water and would be located adjacent to Sump 43. The retention basin would collect stormwaters generated within Drainage Basins 37 and 43 and hold them for controlled release through Sump 43 into the existing drainage channel leading to Morrison Creek which flows into the Sacramento River. By retaining the stormwater in Basin, the City would be able to manage the flows to reduce the potential for flooding and minimize storm impacts to the City's drainage system in this area.
