Document Description
This project is to rehabilitate two walking trails at San Onofre State Beach which have been damaged by past storm events. Steps and handrails will be installed by excavating two feet in some areas. Ruts and washed out areas will be filled with clean fill dirt from the areas excavated for steps. Gabion baskets with rock filter, underlined with geofabric, will be installed where necessary to protect the trail, and back filled with clean fill dirt from excavated areas. An archaeological monitor will be consulted during the first phase of work on trail #5.
