Document Description
The project entails: 1) the replacement of a portion of the existing steel handrail along Beach Boulevard (from Carmel Avenue to Bella Vista) with a 3.5 ft. high concrete wave deflection wall approximately 418 feet in lengh, 2) replacement of the remainder of the existing steel handrail from Carmel to Santa Rosa Avenue with stainless steel cables @ 4 inches on center, approximately 812 feet in length, and 3) the placement of 10,000 tons of 4 to 8 ton rocks at the toe of the existing seawall to replenish portions of the rock revetment washed out by waves.
