Document Description
The Glen Colusa Irrigation District proposes to increase diversions by up to 182,900 acre-feet (ac-ft) and by a maxium diversion rate of 1,200 cubic feet per second during the period November 1 through March 31 annually. About 150,000 ac-ft would be for complying with the Rice Straw Burning Reduction Act of 1991, and the balance would be for winter crops such as feed crops for waterfowl, orchards, wheat, pasture and tomatoes, and for private duck clubs.
