Document Description
Development of a 120 foot tall metal, cellular communication tower (monopole) with whip antennas and a six (6) foot diameter (maximum) microwave dish. Total structure height, including tower and antennas will be approximately 130 feet. The project includes the development of a 280 square foot concrete block and frame communication equipment building with a standby generator, security fence, and access road/parking improvements. In addition, a video camera is proposed to be mounted on the tower to provide security for the Redwood Fields Sports Complex. The proposed tower and associated improvements will be located on approximately 0.08 acres on the northwest corner of the Sports Complex property. Also, the project includes the modification of Redwood Empire Little League Association's Conditional Use Permit (CUP-22-95) which required the conveyance of development rights on the sports facility land for all uses other than ballpark/parkland by entering into a Conveyance Development Rights with the County to allow for the proposed cellular tower.
