Document Description
The Town of Windsor proposes to reconstruct and widen approximately 2,000 linear feet of Windsor Road between Windsor River Road and Old Redwood Highway. The proposed improvements include widening the existing roadway and installing curbs, gutters, sidewalks, drainage facilities, fire hydrants and street lights. The finished roadway would be 38 feet wide from curb to curb with two travel lanes and two parking lanes. Five foot wide sidewalks are proposed contiguous to the curb. Existing overhead utilities would be placed underground between Windsor River Road and Howard Drive. The proposed improvements would necessitate the acquisition of additional right-of-way from approximately 13 parcels along Windsor Road.
