Document Description
UC LBNL plans to upgrade and modernize its campus-wide utility systems. This will replace outdated mechanical systems and provide more efficient and redundant utility
infrastructure to meet current and projected future UC LBNL needs. Approximately 10,000 linear feet of subsurface trenches, duct banks, and utility corridors will be addressed. Existing utility trenches will be uncovered and exposed, utility lines will be swapped out, and the trenches will be recovered and resurfaced. Utility lines and appurtenances to be replaced will either be abandoned in place or removed and recycled or disposed of off-site.
