Document Description
The specific project evaluated herein is the purchase of a 152 acre parcel for a possible future use as a regional park with amenties such as picnic areas, trails, open space, children's play areas, and restrooms. The basin components of the park would be similar to our Parks Master Plan for Regional parks, with areas for active recreation such as soccer fields, baseball fields, or others based on the Master Plan process prior to any construction. There is no specific plan for any specific park uses at this time. A Park design and Master Plan will be prepared after purchase and additional environmental review will require at that time. The site will remain in agricultural use and zoning until such time as a park plan and appropriate environmental review is complete.
