The proposed project will provide right-of-way for an east-west multimodal transportation corridor from Hemet to Corona/Lake Elsinore in western Riverside County. This Tier 1 EIS/EIR provides environmental documentation to support a route location decision to select one alternative alignment within the HCLE corridor. Following selection of a preferred alternative, Tier 2 environment studies will be conducted for a range of alignment, mode, and facility type alternative for the selected route.
