Document Description
The project proposes the following: 1) construction of the remaining segment of Mission City Parkway (in the form of a bridge) to connect the existing roadway currently located south of the San Diego River to the newly constructed segment located to the north of the river; 2) construction of associated roadway approaches; 3) extension of an existing 96-inch RCP drainage facility; 4) extension of "I" Street from the proposed Mission City Parkway eastward to the existing Qualcomm Stadium parking lot; 5) preparation of a realignment study (only) of the existing tight 'S' curve along Camino Del Rio North immediately to the east of its intersection with Mission City Parkway; and 6) evaluation of the use by the National Football League (NFL) of 14-acre site owned by the City's Metropolitan Wastewater Department (the former aquaculture site) for the NFL Experience, a temporary pre-game event associated with the 2003 Superbowl.
