Major Use Permit (MUP) and Coastal Development Permit (CDP) to allow an existing below-grade, approximately 50 foot long concrete reinforced upper bluff retention system consisting of steel reinforced concrete caissons to a depth of about 40 feet, placed approximately eight feet on center with tiebacks and capped by a steel and concrete plate. This retention system is constructed in the rear yard of an existing residential duplex structure approximately five feet inland of the coastal bluff edge.
