The proposed project consists of the acquistion of 8.99 acres approximately 3 miles north of the Town of Springville and the construction of a CDF standard 2-engine station including a 12 person combination Barracks/Messhall (2940+/-sf), three bay apparatus building with office, restroom, workroom, and storage space (1990+/-sf), gas and oil building (150+/-sf), crew parking, fencing, and landscaping. The proposed project is necessary because the exisitng CDF Springville Forest Fire Station no longer meets current safety requirements and the Department's operational needs.
