Document Description
Open river mouth to tidal flushing to relieve stress on marsh habitat that is still alive. Opening inlet will require grading 15,000 cubic yards from west channel (shoreline to rail road bridge) and transfer of excavated sand to the beach (north of inlet). Once lagoon inlet is opened ocean water will be tested for bacteria concentrations until safe for public use (approximately 3-5 days). There are no potentially significant impacts anticipated.
