Document Description
A new vertical pump will be constructed next to an existing gravity floodgate structure for irrigation purposes. The pump will only be used at times when the existing floodgate is inoperable due to lowered water levels caused by the Grant Line Canal barrier operation. The net amount of water diverted will be unchanged from prior years.

The improved structure will have the same purpose and capacity as the original structure. It is designed to eliminate water stage impacts caused by the Temporary Barriers and will not divert any additional water in excess of that which has been historically diverted by the existing structure.
