Document Description
Project would be part of the Varner Harbor dredge project including the construction of bulkheads to contain sand and barnacle shell movement, adding a jetty, and rehabbing the boat launch ramp. The harbor is filling with silt and the channel will close if no action is taken. The concrete promenade, lighting, three benches and landscaping will be placed along the bulkhead. The project also includes new access, a new fishing area, shade ramadas with concrete picnic tables, barbeques, and an ADA accessible drinking fountain. No potential for significant impacts to the environment is anticipated.
