Document Description
Purpose- Open river mouth to tidal flushing to relieve stress on marine habitat that is still alive. Opening inlet will require grading 15,000 cubic yards from west channel (shoreline to railroad bridge) and transfer of excavated sand to the beach 9 north of inlet). Once lagoon is opened, ocean water will be tested for bacteria concentrations until safe for public use (appoximately 3 to 5 days).
