Document Description
The California Department of Corrections' Joint Venture Program is proposing to allow a private contractor to operate a green waste processing facility on approximately 20 acres of land on the grounds of the California Institution for Men(CIM). The project would be staffed by inmates from CIM and would involve grinding yard waste from the City of Chino and Chino Hills to make mulch. The mulch would then be transported off-site for sale.
