The proposed antenna site is located atop Condor Mesa, adjacent to Condor Trail. The building which will house the antenna, generator and other associated equipment, has a "foot print" size of 28' by 39'. A "Unipole" with attached 4' dia. microwave dish will reach a height of 25' the remainder of the facility will have a height of 11'. The exterior of the building will have a split block construction similar to other structures within the park. Ground disturbance for the structure will not exceed three feet in depth and will be confined to the 28' by 39' building foundation. In addition approximately 2.5 miles of utility trench (12"wide, 3' deep) will run from the Visitor Center to the site following existing trail routes.
