Document Description
The Los Angeles District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACOE,COE or Corps), as part of its Operations and Maintenance program, is proposing to perform repairs to the detached breakwater at Ventura Harbor, Ventura County, California. These repairs will include repositioning, replacement, and/or removal of unsuitable rock material. The original footprint of the breakwater will not be changed. The repair area will cover appproximately 591 square meters at the trunk (between Station 0+127 to Station 0+158, and between Station 0+158 to Station 0+165) and the Spur (between Station 0+68 to 0+78) of the detached breakwater. A total of 5,968 metric tons of new A-16 stone will be required for the proposed repair. The project repairs, as proposed, will take approximately 60 days, with construction activities currently scheduled between June 2002 and September 2002.
