Document Description
The San Mateo County Housing and Community Development Division (HCD) proposes to construct an 8, 980 square foot homeless shelter in the employee parking lot of the San Mateo County Transit District (SAMTRANS) Bus Facility on Belle Air Island, at 301 North Access Road in South San Francisco. The proposed shelter will be attached directly to the existing concrete parking area with footings. The shelter will be constructed of galvanized metal, with metal roofing material, and be approximately 70 feet in width, 130 feet in legnth, and 30 feet (or less) in height. The interior walls and ceilings of the shelter will be insulated, and the interior finish will be fire resistant material, such as gypsum wall board.
