Document Description
The proposed project is the adoption and implementation of three ordinances to amend the Santa Monica Municipal Code relating to Green Building Design & Construction Guidelines. The Guidelines, adopted by the Santa Monica City Council in December of 1999, consists of 11 programs and multiple recommended practices for each program. The objective of the three ordinances is to implement the Green Building Design & Construction Guidelines to reduce the use of non-renewable energy, generation of waste, and the use of impervious parking surfaces city-wide.
