Document Description
The 2000 Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the City Industrial Development Project area includes the incorporation of administrative revisions only to the adopted Redevelopment Plan. These administrative revisions are limited to: (1) the inclusion of eminent domain in the Plan which currently does not provide for such action and (2) recognition of the City's General Plan Land Use Element, in accordance with California Redevelopment Law, to determine future land uses permitted within the City Industrial Development Project Area which encompasses 6,169.7 acres in the City of Irwindale. As prescribed in the Amendment, eminent domain will not be used to acquire residential uses that are improved with structures that conform to the City's General Plan and applicable zoning codes.
